Paul Reiser has been a part of the Lima music scene for 60 years. His first gig was playing for dancing at Lincoln Park in the summer of 1944. After graduating from Wittenberg University in 1949, He was a charter member in 1953 of the Lima Symphony Orchestra, playing clarinet and bass clarinet in it for 43 years. He also has been a member of the Lima Area Concert Band for over 30 years. During this period he was also a member of various jazz bands led by Don Hurless, Ray Coleson, Brad Stauffer and the West Ohio Big Band led by Bob Loughrige and based in Celina. He presently plays saxophone in The Tune Toppers, appearing at area nursing homes and county fairs.
